Meaty appetizer, needs a good strong cracker to stand up to this. Serve with appetizer spreaders on the plate for ease of use. Simple and tasty.
1 2.5 oz dried beef
1 8oz block cream cheese
1 Tbsp Worcestershire
1 Tbsp season salt
¼ C green onions, fine chop
parsley and green onion tops – chopped fine
Pull the dried beef out of the jar; rinse and pat dry. Chop the beef finely. Soften the cream cheese in a bowl and add the worcestershire, season salt and green onions. Mix well. Push out onto wax paper or plastic wrap. Shape into log and refrigerate (up to two days). When ready to serve roll log in parlsey and onion tops and plate. Garnish with additional parsley if desired. Serve with crackers, rye toast or triscuits.
