Fruit Bowl with Dip – Talk about the ultimate finger food for a buffet or party. Nutritional too, but don’t tell the crowd that.
Dip#1
Pint of sour cream (lo-fat will work)
2 Tbsp brown sugar, packed
dash salt
1 tsp vanilla
Mix all ingredients well until sugar has completely dissolved. Taste, if it is not quite sweet enough add a tad more brown sugar. Serve in small bowl surrounded by fruit.
Melon balls or chucks – honeydew, cantalope, christmas, crenshaw, etc.
Berries of any sort, but strawberries hold up the best
Peach slices
Grapes, any seedless variety will work well
Pineapple chunks or slices
Dip #2
Pint of plain yogurt
2 Tbsp honey
dash salt
1 tsp vanilla
