Easiest Meatloaf
Ingredients:
Mix 1 lb ground beef with
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
2 eggs
¾ C bread crumbs (plain or italian)
2 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
To assemble: Form into loaf, bake at 375 for 45 minutes

Basic Meatloaf II
Ingredients:
1.5 lbs of ground beef
2/3 C cracker crumbs (crushed stale saltines are ideal)
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 C onion, chopped
1/2 C pepper (any fresh pepper will do, hungarian, anaheim, jalapeno)
Pinch of each oregano, thyme & garlic powder – salt & pepper
1 Tbsp of worcestershire sauce
To assemble: Mix above ingredients well, form into loaf – bake @ 350 for an 50 minutes – Then pour your favorite ketchup or chili sauce on top and place onion rings (optional) on top of sauce – bake an additional 15 minutes.
****General Meatloaf Tips****
*Always let meatloaf set for about 10 minutes before you cut into it.
*A glass or metal bread or “loaf” pan works well
*Heavy aluminum foil wrapped around the loaf (close the foil top) on a cookie sheet or other pan will work – cooking time may be less with this method
*Substitute old fashioned quaker oats for the breadcrumbs or crackers for a healthier alternative
