Pierre Marmonier made a decision to leave his corporate life after eighteen long years of going all around the world and becoming assigned to a different region every 2 to 3 years. It was June 2009 when he along with his family members went back to the Philippines to try their luck inside the Filipino food arena hence the jam company.
For Pierre, the development of these wonderful sweets requires perfection. They strengthen the fruit flavors by reducing the sugars in their jam, without having additives or artificial flavors added in. They created their jam selection, and have fused each selection with unique spices and flavors. Their best selling flavors are Strawberry Banana, Mango Ginger, Mango Lavender, Pineapple Coco Rhum, as well as the super special Mango Chocolate. Lots of the components are inspired from our very own Filipino recipes.
“We will still have a very long way to go,” says Pierre, “We wish to extend our retail base and establish our presence. We’re currently thinking about a new line within the jam segment and we will certainly look into the export market come 2011. I would love to see high quality Philippine jam served at hotels in Hong Kong and Singapore. I believe this is attainable provided that you do not compromise on good quality and hard work!”
