Great dieting advice from Isabel:
I think that the best aspect of the slow carb diet concept is cheat days! My own cheat day falls on every single Saturday, because that is what works best for me personally. However, cheat days can really be any day of the week for you, reliant upon precisely how you wish to establish your own routine.
So just for entertainment, let’s take a brief walk through one of my latest cheat day extravaganzas:
7:00 AM – At first, I start out with Athletic Greens, a fistful of dried edamame, two hard boiled eggs, along with almond butter with broccoli (I understand this could sound so strange, but it is absolutely delicious)
8:30 AM – Coffee (with Fructevia and organic vanilla soymilk) and brownies
10:00 AM – Two Philly Soft Pretzels (Did I say that I love the slow carb diet?)
12:00 PM – Watermelon & a few Ritz crackers
1:30 PM – Ham and cheese hoagie with green pepper & lettuce, potato chips, along with Coke Zero (despite the fact that fake sugar is terrible, I just cannot help myself)
3:30 PM – Several vanilla Oreo’s
5:30 PM – KFC fried chicken, Arby’s roast beef sandwich, a handful of fries, a biscuit, and also iced tea
6:00 PM – Black raspberry ice cream and a Tasty Cake
8:00 PM – Yet another Philly Soft Pretzel (they’re best when fresh, so I don’t want them to go to waste)
9:30 PM – Flavored Popsicle as well as several frozen Reese’s peanut butter cups
It would certainly be frightening to count up the calories on all of this, yet again that is another great part of the slow carb diet. Believe it or not, although this sounds like a bunch (and it actually is), this is a relatively typical cheat day for me.
And so, you may rest assured that I will not be weighing myself the following day after a cheat. In fact, I usually wait until Tuesday morning to weigh in for the very first time after my Saturday cheat. Virtually every 7 days, even after the monumental cheat days, I’m back down to my target weight on Tuesday morning, which is such a terrific experience.
Right here are a couple of important insights:
1. Throughout the day, I do the binge fighting exercises (air squats, arm band extensions, and push ups)
2. I often take a walk at some point throughout the day. This is nothing overly demanding; instead, just a quick, nice walk.
3. I do my best not to eat until the level that I really feel ill, but it still happens sometimes to the best of us.
